An African Rock Python Rests in a Tree High above the Road in Tarangire National Park
A beautiful, but deadly, African Rock Python rests in a tree overhead on a road in the Tanangire National Park. These snakes approach 20 feet and can weigh 120 lbs. Non-venomous, they constrict prey to suffocate and can consume animals as large as a whole antelope.
