A Rocky Hill and How the Serengeti Got Its Name-Tanzania
The view of the long road filled with cars kicking up dust from a kopje, called "Naabi" in Maasai. A sign at the site explained the kopje "is floating in a sea of grass, the Serengeti plains, called siring, in Maasai." And so we get the name of the famous National Park in Tanzania.
